Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Radiology Department Supervisor to oversee the delivery of patient care in our radiology department. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a strong nursing background, and the ability to coordinate patient care and monitor staff performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient care and monitor staff performance
  • Serve as a resource person to staff members and as a preceptor for new nursing personnel
  • Ensure documentation of patient care and health education
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care and safety
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care

Requirements:

  • A valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
  • Holds, or obtains through facility orientation, a valid and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse, preferably in a supervisory role
