Job Responsibilities

As a Lift Operator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Continuously monitoring the safety of passengers while providing instruction and customer service in the safe loading and unloading of lifts;
  • Managing the speed of lift as needed;
  • Proactively notifying maintenance/dispatch of repair or maintenance needs;
  • Working closely with the Lift Maintenance department to learn the proper operation of lift equipment;
  • Implementing emergency procedures as required, including contacting Patrol;
  • Ensuring lift is ready for operations prior to set up of maze; setting up/disassembling lift maze daily according to maze standards;
  • Following and performing all company and departmental policies and procedures;
  • Maintaining a safe work area and cleanliness of lift shacks; removing trash when necessary;
  • Other duties as assigned.
