Job Summary

Gables Search Group is seeking a highly skilled Process Chemist to support our company's strategic growth and productivity goals. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in improving production recipes, ensuring consistent quality, reducing customer complaints, and optimizing cycle times.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Optimization: Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct statistical analysis of process data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve chemistry and process-related issues in the production area.
• Recipe Development: Create and maintain reactor and mixer recipes to optimize quality and efficiency.
• Inventory Management: Manage assigned inventory of raw materials and products.
• Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and resolve quality failures and production chemistry-related complaints.
• Process Control: Assist in designing new and improving existing test methods.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a chemical plant production environment or related field.
• Skills: Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and perform statistical data analysis. Knowledge of silicone chemistry preferred.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Project Management: Strong project management skills.
