Faculty Position in Neuroanesthesiology

The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative Medicine, and Pain Management at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is seeking a highly qualified candidate to join its faculty as a Neuroanesthesiologist. The successful candidate will be expected to provide high-quality clinical care, education, and research in the field of neuroanesthesiology.

Responsibilities
  • Provide perioperative care to patients undergoing elective and emergency neurosurgical and neuro-interventional procedures
  • Contribute to the patient's perioperative journey and provide optimum care with strong multidisciplinary collaboration involving neurosurgery and orthopedic surgical services
  • Engage in academic activity in clinical/basic research and medical education
  • Supervise residents, fellows, CRNAs, and SRNAs
  • Participate in departmental conferences and faculty meetings
Requirements
  • Completed a US-approved residency in Anesthesiology
  • Minimum of one year of Neuro-anesthesiology fellowship training or equivalent training and certification
  • Board Eligibility or Certification in Anesthesiology
