Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our Clinical Services Department at Brookdale Skyline. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality care for our residents while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for residents, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Oversee the assessment and coordination of care for residents, working closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Lead and manage a team of nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new programs and services.
  • Represent Brookdale Skyline in a professional and positive manner, promoting the company's mission and values.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in long-term care nursing, with a focus on leadership and management.
  • Current RN license and CPR certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
