Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at B&G Manufacturing Co. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and operating CNC systems, providing technical support to the shop, and collaborating with engineering to ensure accurate machine operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and operate CNC systems from blueprint to first article
  • Provide technical support to lead personnel and setup personnel as needed
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure accurate machine operations
  • Research and apply knowledge of various materials, insert grades, and tooling required in machining operations
  • Reduce tooling costs through continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as a CNC Lathe & Mill Programmer from blueprint to first article
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Master Cam, Esprit, and/or SolidCam software
  • CNC skills required include blueprint reading, set-up, tooling, and troubleshooting; multi-axis programming
  • Experience with Quality Control testing equipment
  • Experience training CNC lathe & mill machining, programming, and troubleshooting skills
