About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Home Health is seeking a skilled Home Health RN to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in a reputable hospital in Kailua, HI.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Home Health RN to provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments of patients and document their progress in their medical records.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and document any adverse reactions.
  • Drive to multiple patient homes daily to provide care and support.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to patient needs within 30 minutes.
Requirements
  • One year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) with at least six months of recent Home Health experience.
  • Current RN license and valid driver's license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Valid auto insurance.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment up to 50 pounds.
