We are seeking a skilled Nurse Assistant to join our team on the 4th Floor Progressive Care Unit at Henry Ford Hospital. As a Nurse Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood samples for laboratory testing.
- Participate in team rounds and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
- Completion of a Nurse Assistant program or equivalent experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
This is a night shift position in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and prioritize tasks to meet the needs of patients and staff.
