We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Estimator to join our Wichita, KS team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing accurate material quotes and supporting our customers throughout their projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed material quotes and distribute them to owners or contractors.
  • Analyze blueprints and plan sets to determine precise quantities and materials required for projects.
  • Investigate plans and specifications to identify any special material needs and liaise with design engineers or owners to address unique requirements.
  • Ensure that provided materials comply with local, state, and federal standards.
  • Process orders from telephone and walk-in customers, providing exceptional customer service for inside sales.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment and assist with additional assigned duties.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear and concise interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong understanding of wastewater lagoons, lift stations, and pump house operations.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and plan sets, demonstrating the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
  • Analytical skills and experience handling missing or incomplete information effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Familiarity with SAGE100 ERP and ON Center software is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience interpreting plans in the waterworks sector is preferred.
