Genie Healthcare is seeking a qualified and experienced LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) specializing in corrections. This role is ideal for professionals looking to make a difference in a correctional environment.
Compensation:
The position offers a competitive pay rate of $55.00 per hour, which includes both taxed and non-taxed earnings.
Weekly Earnings Breakdown:
- Gross Weekly Income: $1980 (including stipend)
- Taxable Weekly Income: $720
- Non-Taxable Stipend: $1260
Requirements:
- AHA BLS certification is mandatory.
- Valid LPN license in the state of Illinois is required.
Responsibilities:
The LPN will be responsible for providing nursing care in a correctional setting, including:
- Working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts) or evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (8-hour shifts).
- Committing to a 36-hour work week.
- Engaging in a 13-week contract period.
