We are seeking a skilled Striper Operator to join our team at Russell Stover Chocolates. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality chocolate products are produced.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and Maintain Equipment: Safely operate and maintain machinery, equipment, and tools in accordance with company standards and guidelines.
- Set Up and Monitor Production: Set up equipment, observe production processes, and ensure products meet specifications.
- Perform Maintenance and Quality Control: Perform routine maintenance, read and understand quality specifications, and recognize deviations from those specifications.
- Assist and Train Colleagues: Assist, train, direct, and monitor other employees as directed by supervisor.
- Monitor Production Rates and Quality: Monitor candy weight, quality, and production rates, and ensure supplies are available for production.
- Maintain Cleanliness and Machine Condition: Maintain cleanliness of the machine, report any issues to the supervisor, and ensure machine condition is optimal.
- Receive, Store, and Deliver Products: Receive, store, secure, maintain, load, and deliver products and materials as required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, stoop, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds, with repeated bending and lifting.
- Mathematical Abilities: Ability to perform basic math functions.
- Education and Experience: 2 years of manufacturing experience and 1 year of machine operator experience preferred.
