Job Title: Experienced MEP CAD Drafter

We are seeking an experienced MEP CAD Drafter to join our team at American Incorporated. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed architectural, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical floor plans and sections, as well as developing P&ID's and generating piping spool drawings for fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Engineers, Architects, and Project Managers to gather design requirements and produce drawings.
  • Create detailed drawings for MEP systems, including architectural, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical floor plans and sections.
  • Develop P&ID's and generate piping spool drawings for fabrication.
  • Design equipment supplemental steel drawings and steel pipe supports.
  • Produce 3D BIM Models for coordination purposes.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP 2017 or higher, with extensive knowledge of Project Navigator and viewports.
  • Proficiency in Revit, with the ability to create, organize, and develop BIM (Building Information Modeling).
  • Strong understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to participate in field site visits.
  • Availability for full-time employment with overtime as required.
