Bakery Technician

As a Pastry Cook at Toca Madera Scottsdale, you will be responsible for creating delicious pastries and desserts in a fast-paced kitchen environment. We're seeking a highly skilled individual who can prepare a variety of desserts and other food items for cooking in broilers, grills, fryers and a variety of kitchen equipment.

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping fruit, or preparing sauces)
• General understanding of pastries and piping skills
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food is finished simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
