Physiatrist Opportunity

We are seeking a board certified or board eligible physiatrist to join our inpatient acute rehabilitation service. As an assistant, associate, or full professor on the clinical scholar pathway, you will be involved in patient care and resident and medical student teaching. Our inpatient service combines all aspects of acute inpatient rehabilitation care and management on a 35-bed unit, with full-time hospitalist medicine support.
Strong collaborations exist with Orthopaedics, Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Acute Care surgery, in addition to all other specialties. The University of Vermont Medical Center, our primary teaching hospital, is a level I trauma and tertiary referral center serving northern Vermont and upstate New York.
Qualifications: Must be a board certified or board eligible physiatrist with an interest in comprehensive Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). Candidates must demonstrate an interest in teaching.
