Key Responsibilities- Comprehensive Patient Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of patients with implanted intrathecal drug delivery devices to identify their unique needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Nursing Interventions: Provide expert nursing care, including pump refills, dose adjustments, and patient education, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, adhering to state, HIPAA, and TJC requirements.
- Experience: 3 years of RN experience, with 24/7 accountability as needed.
- Certifications: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and ability to become licensed in another state if needed.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, and organization skills; ability to work independently and be a resourceful, proactive problem solver.
- ICU/ER/OR and/or Home Care Experience: Previous experience in ICU/ER/OR and/or home care settings preferred.
- BSN: Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree preferred.
- Travel: Frequent travel via car, train, or plane required.
- Lifting and Mobility: Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds occasionally and up to 5 pounds frequently.
