We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team at Sunbelt Staffing for a maternity leave coverage position. This full-time, onsite role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the academic, social, and emotional development of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans and accommodations.
- Serve as a resource to staff regarding student behavior, learning, and mental health concerns.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to support student success and well-being.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Current state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational or clinical setting.
- Proficiency in psychological assessment tools and techniques.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
