Senior Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Advanced Technology Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Technician - Industrial Expert to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing expert-level break-fix and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform expert-level maintenance: Conduct thorough inspections, diagnose issues, and perform repairs on industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Source and procure parts: Identify and acquire necessary parts, supplies, and repair items to support maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with customers: Work closely with customer counterparts to optimize maintenance procedures, improve reliability, and enhance overall equipment performance.
- Operate machinery and tools: Set up and operate various machining operations, including lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other metalworking tools to manufacture and repair parts.
- Ensure safety and compliance: Adhere to customer contractor codes of conduct, housekeeping standards, and safety processes to maintain a safe working environment.
- Document work and performance: Record maintenance activities, equipment performance data, and observations in service reports and management systems.
- Provide training and support: Assist lower-level technicians and leadership in project teams, perform expert functions as part of training and development, and provide on-the-job training and technical self-study programs.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex systems: Utilize advanced maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data, observe trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Education and experience: High school graduate or equivalent, associate's degree with a technical focus, or 12 years of experience in a specific industry.
- Technical skills: Comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems, with the ability to analyze problems, synthesize solutions, and perform repairs.
- Communication and teamwork: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and leadership.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
The Senior Maintenance Technician - Industrial Expert will be required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle tools, reach with hands and arms, climb, ascend/descend or balance to heights, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in confined spaces, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds and use close vision and color vision. The employee will be exposed to outside weather conditions, risk of electrical shock, and hazardous materials in a factory environment.
