Key Responsibilities:

  • Wrap, weigh, price, and label meats and related products to meet customer expectations and company standards.
  • Order and manage inventory of wrapping materials and labels to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Communicate low stock levels and temperature issues to the department manager to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized display case to showcase products effectively.
  • Provide friendly and courteous assistance to customers, addressing their queries and concerns.
  • Adhere to company policies, health and safety regulations, and weights and measures laws.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the price book to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and write to properly tag products and maintain accurate records.
  • Manual dexterity to handle and wrap products efficiently.
  • Ability to work in extreme cold temperatures for extended periods, handling frozen or refrigerated meats.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly, with a high level of physical activity.
