Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient medical history and physician directives.
  • Inform patients about imaging procedures, equipment usage, and examination processes.
  • Prepare and administer contrast agents and medications as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient status and respond to any changes in condition.
  • Set up imaging equipment and necessary supplies.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and conduct quality assurance checks.
  • Diagnose and rectify equipment issues.
  • Position patients appropriately and conduct imaging procedures.
  • Evaluate imaging results and address any quality concerns.
  • Document, transmit, and communicate scan findings.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, with a preference for advanced certification in Computed Tomography.
  • Current AHA BLS certification.
  • At least one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with a preference for prior CT experience.
