Job Title: Equipment Leasing Specialist

Meherrin Agricultural and Chemical Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Equipment Leasing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the equipment leasing process from start to finish, including identifying potential lessees, negotiating lease terms, and ensuring all contractual obligations are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our VP of Finance and leasing partners to execute leases across all divisions.
  • Review and analyze lease proposals, including internal rate of return analysis.
  • Lead asset database reporting and document review for accuracy.
  • Track lease end dates and manage required notices of intentions at lease maturity.
  • Partner with our fleet management team to ensure proper tagging and titling for applicable units.
  • Collaborate with internal partners across all divisions during the entire life cycle of lease.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by the VP of Finance, including implementation of corporate card programs and cross-divisional support.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Five years of relevant banking, finance, leasing, or asset management experience.
Competencies:
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to conceptualize and develop formats for reporting and special documents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel.
  • Adaptability, ability to work independently and in a team setting, and manage competing demands.
  • Quality, accuracy, and thoroughness, with a focus on improving and promoting quality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with good questioning and listening skills.
