We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crew Leader to oversee the installation of architectural metal cladding (ACM) and sheet metal systems for our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing installation activities, ensuring timely completion of projects, and maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and lead installation crews to ensure safe and efficient execution of ACM and sheet metal projects.
- Interpret project plans, specifications, and blueprints to coordinate installation activities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Assign tasks to team members and monitor progress to meet project schedules and deadlines.
- Train new team members on installation techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards to ensure a high level of expertise.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify the quality of workmanship and adherence to specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to address any issues or concerns and ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials used, and project progress to support project management and reporting.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ACM and sheet metal installation, with a proven track record of leadership and project management.
- Strong knowledge of metal cladding systems, installation techniques, and industry best practices to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to coordinate installation activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate and inspire team members, as well as to communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
- Proficiency in basic math and measurements, with attention to detail and accuracy to ensure accurate record-keeping and project management.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to facilitate site visits and project coordination.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
