Job Overview

SUMMARY:

This role is accountable for generating reports and metrics from our Human Resources Information System and other HR technologies. The individual will analyze the outcomes and propose enhancements for the utilization of technology and processes within the HR Department. Responsibilities include assisting with the testing and implementation of modifications to technology and HR workflows. Daily tasks involve salary administration, job description evaluations, and compliance research. The role also includes maintaining the Performance Evaluation module and supporting government reporting obligations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage requests and compile reports generated from payroll, HRIS, and recruiting systems and applications. Ensure the accuracy of information maintained in these systems.

- Prepare metrics and demographic reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

- Recommend methods to automate, integrate, and enhance processes using current HRIS and technology while staying informed about emerging technologies and trends.

- Contribute to the development of HR procedures specifically for recruiting, compensation, and government reporting. Provide guidance for adherence to HR policies and procedures related to recruiting and other relevant areas.

- Identify and analyze regulatory changes that may affect current policies and procedures.

- Assist with troubleshooting and providing technical support to users of the Bank's HRIS, payroll, and recruiting systems, including background check and skills assessment platforms, time record systems, and eI9.

- Support the coordination and completion of user testing and document procedures when processes change or new processes are introduced. May assist in training HR staff on system and procedure updates.

- Aid in the preparation of annual HRIS reports for legally required EEO/AAP and VETS-4212 submissions to government agencies and for internal use.

- Assist in reviewing base salary structures and rates, recommending necessary changes to ensure competitiveness within various markets. Participate in salary surveys and market pricing reviews. Research and recommend job offers for new hires and transfers.

- Analyze and evaluate exempt and non-exempt positions according to Fair Labor Standards Act duties tests.

- Discuss job positions with managers and assist in writing job descriptions.

- Support the creation of job titles, determining position details including FLSA, pay grade, and EEO code for entry. Input and edit job titles in HR systems. Assist in reviewing officer status and pay grade criteria.

- Maintain the Performance Evaluation module. Distribute 90-day performance evaluations for new hires and transfers. Track completion and extend evaluations as requested by HR Market Officers. Ensure all Performance Evaluation-related procedures are current.

- Participate in local SHRM activities.

- Perform other job duties and projects as assigned.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

The banking industry is highly regulated, and proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures is expected, along with adherence to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Completion of all assigned compliance training in a timely manner is also required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is necessary.

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are required.
