Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Cost Estimator to join our team. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders in the construction process, including clients, design teams, and suppliers, to develop detailed proposals that encompass all elements of work for each project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough reviews of construction plans, specifications, and proposals to prepare accurate estimates for Tilt Wall and Flatwork projects.
  • Possess a solid understanding of Tilt Wall construction methodologies.
  • Utilize takeoff software and Microsoft Office applications for project estimation.
  • Source material and equipment quotes from various suppliers.
  • Prepare and submit concrete bids to clients.
  • Engage with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to discuss estimates and address any issues that arise.

Communication Skills:
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Effectively interact with all levels of personnel involved in the project.
  • Foster strong relationships and promote teamwork.
  • Demonstrate effective negotiation skills.
  • Timely escalate issues related to schedule, budget, and constructability.

Qualifications:
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to analyze and organize large volumes of information efficiently.
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret business and construction documents, drawings, and technical procedures.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment and managing pressure effectively.
  • Take ownership of diverse project responsibilities concurrently.
  • Familiarity with preconstruction processes and the bidding framework.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
