Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading the sales efforts for our community, developing and implementing sales strategies, and building relationships with referral sources.
Key Responsibilities- Marketing and Sales:
- Develop and implement a dynamic sales plan to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through referrals and other sources.
- Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, including healthcare professionals, social workers, and other community leaders.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
- Driving Revenue:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, including pricing, inventory management, and services.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to address them.
- External Business Development:
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including healthcare providers, social services agencies, and other community organizations.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through partnerships and collaborations.
- Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and implement a marketing strategy to support sales efforts, including advertising, promotions, and public relations.
- Monitor and analyze marketing data to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to address them.
- Resident Move-In Process:
- Oversee the resident move-in process, including facilitating the move-in packet and coordinating with resident care staff.
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork and forms are completed and that residents are fully prepared for move-in.
- Financial Management:
- Assist in the development and management of the community budget, including labor and other expenses.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to address them.
- Training, Leadership, and Team Member Development:
- Develop and implement training programs to support team member development and engagement.
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members to support their growth and development.
- College degree preferred.
- Successful marketing and sales experience.
- Goal achievement oriented.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Planning and negotiating skills.
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations.
- Competent in organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrates proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and Sunrise applications with the ability to learn new applications.
- Willingness to work independently with little to no day-to-day supervision.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours and be available for our customers at peak service delivery days and times.
