Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled CVOR Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a CVOR Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of cardiovascular operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during cardiovascular procedures
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and instruments for surgical procedures
  • Monitor and maintain aseptic conditions in the operating room
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe patient care
  • Participate in departmental on-call schedule
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience working as a surgical technician in an acute care setting
  • Current CPR provider card
  • Minimum of eighteen months of CVOR recent experience or completed clinical orientation specific to the surgical care of the open-heart patient population
  • Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation as it relates to specific cardiac surgical procedures and other procedures as needed
