We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse to join our team at University Hospitals. As a Pediatric Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to infants, children, and adolescents in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe, efficient, and age-specific nursing care to patients and families.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize care accordingly.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- IV certification (unit-dependent).
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 1 year of nursing experience.
- Knowledge of LPN scope of practice according to the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Leadership experience and certification.
