Your Role:
As a Sonography Unit Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Performing ultrasound scanning procedures by maneuvering the scanner over designated body areas and adjusting settings for optimal focus.
- Creating hard copy images and accurately documenting tests.
- Utilizing automatic film processing equipment for film development.
- Maintaining and ensuring the functionality of ultrasound equipment.
- Managing inventory and ordering ultrasound supplies as needed.
- Adhering to all established policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of one year of experience as an ultrasound technologist/sonographer.
- Certification in diagnostic ultrasound in compliance with state regulations.
- Proficiency in ultrasound diagnostic procedures.
- Ability to operate basic office equipment, including computers and telecommunication devices.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
