Job Summary

Unified Women's Healthcare, LP is seeking a skilled Obstetrician-Gynecologist Physician to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Treat Patient Conditions: Conduct thorough physical examinations, diagnose patient conditions, and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
  • Order and Perform Therapeutic Procedures: Order or perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, and basic wound care.
  • Counsel and Educate Patients: Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
  • Develop and Implement Patient Management Plans: Develop and implement patient management plans, follow hospitalized patients as appropriate, record progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of care.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Medical Knowledge: Gain competence in Electronic Medical Record System and stay current with the latest medical knowledge and advancements in the field.
Requirements
  • Experience in OB/GYN or Women's Health: Possess experience in obstetrics and gynecology or women's health.
  • Medical Degree and Licensure: Hold a medical degree from an accredited medical school and be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Connecticut.
  • Board Certification: Be board certified or board eligible in obstetrics and gynecology.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess effective communication, listening, and customer service skills.
