We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Constant Observer to join our team at Johns Hopkins HealthCare. As a Constant Observer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients in an inpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient observation to assure the safety and well-being of patients under the supervision of the RN.
- Assist in the plan of care for specific patients related to patient safety and functions to continuously observe patients who are at risk for any type of harm.
- Work closely with the nursing care team to ensure the patient's safety and provide support as needed.

- High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma.
- Nursing Assistant Certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing required.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Ability to respond quickly to aggressive patient behaviors and have the ability to learn and implement high-risk patient safety skills.
- Possess clear, effective verbal and written communication, documentation, and accountability measures consistent with hospital/departmental standards.
Salary Range: Minimum $15.33 per hour - Maximum $23.76 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
