About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Care Specialist to join our Transplant Program team at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients undergoing kidney and liver transplant surgery.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of nursing standards.
  • Promote patient and family-centered care in a healing environment.
  • Educate patients and their families on post-treatment home care needs and medication management.
  • Develop, implement, and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A current RN license and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve patient-centered outcomes.
Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $83,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement. Additionally, you may be eligible for a sign-on bonus and differential pay.
