At LIPARI FOODS OPERATING COMPANY, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our cheese further processing facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Production Oversight: Ensure that all production processes are running smoothly and efficiently, and that all products are produced safely and according to specification.
- Schedule Management: Influence and execute production schedules to ensure that all products are delivered on time and within budget.
- Supervision and Training: Manage and train supervision and production staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Issue Resolution: Ensure that all production processes are running smoothly and that any issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work and maintain rapport with all cross-departmental Operations associates, including Quality, Maintenance, and Shipping & Receiving.
- Compliance: Ensure that all production processes are compliant with relevant health and safety regulations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory as it relates to production tracking and traceability, ensuring chain of custody through the production process.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Management or Business Administration preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a production/operations management role preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP/MRP, with Sage X3 and AS400 a strong plus.
- Training and Certifications: Strong Safety and Quality background, including OSHA and HACCP Training.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to drive high levels of performance through others, with strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with metrics-focused and able to provide data to support conclusions.
