Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Envirovac. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and diagnose issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating machinery components
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with mechanical systems, including hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair operations
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a diesel mechanic or in a related field
  • Valid certification (e.g. ASE) preferred
  • Familiarity with Fleet Maintenance Pro software preferred
