Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and process various plans and applications for subdivision, housing, commercial and public infrastructure developments.
  • Determine conformity with laws, regulations, policies and procedures; recommend approval; identify problems and analyze alternatives.
  • Plan, organize and conduct research studies; determine appropriate data sources; conduct analysis of complex issues and data.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations regarding land use, zoning, urban design, population trends, transportation, housing, community needs, parks, open spaces, water utility planning and/or environmental issues.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Urban, Regional or Park Planning, Landscape Architecture, or Environmental Studies, or a related field, as well as six months minimum of professional related planning experience. A valid California Class C driver's license is also required.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $9,435 - $12,754 monthly, which translates to $55.00 - $76.44 hourly.
