At Brady Industries, we're seeking a skilled Financial Operations Analyst to join our team. This role offers a competitive salary of $65,000 to $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in ERP systems, preferably DDI, Synergy, or Profit21. Alternatively, knowledge of MS Dynamics, NetSuite, or SAP is highly valued. Strong MS Excel skills are also desired.


As a Financial Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for accounting and transactional tasks related to accounts payable and general accounting. This will include entering vendor invoices, ensuring price and quantity match POs, and researching and resolving discrepancies.


You will also process approval to pay reports, cut vendor checks, and ensure vendor credits for returned products. In addition, you will provide general ledger support, including journal entries and account analysis, as well as assist with month-end closing and Brady KPI reporting.

Responsibilities:


Accounts Payable



  • Enter vendor invoices with attention to detail to ensure accurate pricing and quantity.
  • Process approval to pay reports to ensure timely payments.
  • Cut vendor checks and process electronic payments to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Ensure vendor credits for returned products to maintain a positive relationship.

General Accounting Activities



  • Provide general ledger support, including journal entries and account analysis, to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Assist with month-end closing to ensure timely financial reporting.
  • Contribute to Brady KPI reporting to drive business growth and improvement.

Back Up for Purchasing and Billing



  • Cross-train in purchasing and billing to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:


Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

Technical Skills



  • ERP experience with DDI, Synergy, or Profit21, or MS Dynamics, NetSuite, or SAP.
  • Strong MS Excel skills to analyze and report financial data.
