The role of the Managing Trial Attorney is pivotal within our organization, focusing on delivering exceptional legal services while supporting the mission of a leading insurance company. This position is integral to ensuring that our clients receive unparalleled care and representation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement best practices within the trial division, ensuring adherence to established methodologies and guidelines.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and claims management to enhance service delivery.
- Supervise a team of attorneys and support staff, providing guidance and performance assessments to ensure high-quality legal services.
- Assist in the preparation of business reports to inform strategic decisions and manage office operations effectively.
- Coordinate administrative functions, including budget management and resource allocation, to support office efficiency.
- Monitor office growth and staffing needs, adapting to changes in workload and ensuring optimal team performance.
Qualifications:
Education: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Active license in the state of practice.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years in civil litigation with significant trial experience, including leadership roles.
Skills: Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Proven ability to lead and mentor legal professionals while managing complex cases effectively.
Work Environment: This position is based in a standard office setting with occasional travel requirements.
