Pulmonologist Inpatient Opportunity

Inova is seeking a skilled pulmonologist to join our team at our 919-bed, Level 1 Trauma Center flagship hospital at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus (IFMC). Our team provides high-level care in outpatient clinics and pulmonary inpatient consultations. We have a robust lung nodule clinic, lung cancer screening program, and a well-established lung transplant center.

Our comprehensive bronchoscopy suite includes equipment for bronchoscopy, EBUS, thoracentesis, tunneled pleural catheter placement, and chest tube placement. Our outpatient practice has an in-house comprehensive PFT lab to support our providers. We have teaching opportunities with supervising University of Virginia Medical students and Internal Medicine Residents.

Requirements:

  • MD or DO Degree
  • Completed ACGME residency training and subsequent fellowship with ABMS board certification in pulmonary medicine or board eligible
  • Current Virginia medical license and DEA
  • Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at all Inova Hospitals
