Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Designer II to join our team at Pike Engineering. As a key member of our design team, you will play a critical role in providing technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems in the area of expertise.

Responsibilities

* Provide technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis, and resolution of problems
* Develop and implement effective planning, organizing, scheduling, and monitoring of work activities
* Create thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, drawings, and sketches
* Continuously improve job-related, technical, and professional knowledge, skills, and performance
* Develop and maintain effective oral and written communication skills
* Maintain accurate records and files
* Support the company's goals and represent the company positively and professionally

Requirements

* Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (or equivalent) or 2 to 4 years of experience and Associate Degree in Engineering Technology (or equivalent)
* Proven Autocad and/or Microstation skills
* Ability to deal with a variety of individuals from various socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds
* Good written and oral communication skills
