This role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience, and we welcome first-time travelers. The patient demographic includes a wide range from adolescents to geriatrics.

Certifications Required

General Skills and Work Environment: The position does not involve block scheduling and includes a mix of MS/Tele and Intermediate patients. Responsibilities may involve neuro, respiratory, cardiac care, and titrating cardiac drips. Assignments will vary based on patient acuity and staffing needs.

Patient Care Ratio

The typical patient care ratio is 1:4-5, with a noted high staffing ratio on this unit.

Unit Systems

Familiarity with systems such as Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR is beneficial.

Additional Information
  • Scrub Color: Navy Blue
  • RTO: Maximum of 7 days
  • Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
  • Floating: Yes, within the facility
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Holiday Expectations: Travelers are expected to work during major holidays as outlined in the guidelines.

Compliance: Full compliance is required to ensure timely start dates. Non-compliance may result in a delay due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.
