Apprenticeship Opportunity

UA Local 81 Plumbers & Steamfitters is seeking skilled individuals to join our apprenticeship program. As a plumber/steamfitter apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop the skills necessary to succeed in this rewarding trade.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be physically able to perform the work of the trade
  • Must reside within the jurisdiction of Local Union 81
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must pass a drug screening
  • Must take and pass the Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Test
Program Details

The apprenticeship program will provide you with hands-on training and education in the plumbing and steamfitting trade. You will work under the guidance of experienced journeymen and learn the skills necessary to succeed in this trade.

As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to earn a competitive wage and benefits while learning a valuable trade. Upon completion of the program, you will be eligible to take the licensing exam and become a journeyman plumber/steamfitter.
