The Role

This Electricity Generation and Maintenance Expert position is responsible for maintaining and repairing residential backup power systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil and filter changes, coolant flushes, and battery checks
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot generator malfunctions, electrical and mechanical issues
  • Make necessary repairs or component replacements
  • Respond to emergency service calls and resolve generator issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification; additional technical certifications or vocational training in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred
  • Generac (air-cooled) certification required; Generac (liquid-cooled) certification highly preferred
  • Working experience as a Generac Service Technician for at least 6+ months
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
  • Valid Texas Driver's License that can withstand insurance review
