Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our Patient Care Services team, responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients and their families. As an Emergency Department Nurse, you will be part of a dynamic team that delivers exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes.
- Supervise and delegate patient care activities to team members, ensuring efficient and effective care delivery.
- Evaluate patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Less than 2 years of previous emergency care experience (PRN RNs require a minimum of 2 years acute emergency experience)
- CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider certification
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification
- RN - Registered Nurse licensure
- ENCP - Emergency Nurse Pediatric certification (optional)
- CEN - Certified Emergency Nurse certification (optional)
- NIHSS - National Stroke Association NIH Stroke Scale certification (optional)
