Job Summary

The Technology Training and Instructional Design Specialist will bridge both training delivery and the design of course content, material, and eLearning. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training to all attorneys and staff on how to best use the Firm's technology to enable their success. Training is to be conducted in alignment with Firm policies, Firmwide training standards, procedures, and guidelines and reporting key success indicators.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver training to all attorneys and staff on how to best use the Firm's technology to enable their success.
• Design and develop training materials following defined best practices, using approved Firm templates with proper branding and layout.
• Work with Instructional Design Managers to create basic troubleshooting documentation, along with detailed step-by-step instruction for the Kirkland user.
• Deliver training in a classroom, one-on-one, or virtual room environment using the proper medium (PowerPoint, direct demonstrations, Zoom, etc.).
• Evaluate training through video and audio recording and playback, evaluation sheets, and follow-up with supervisors and managers to determine effectiveness of training program, and revises and updates materials and delivery in a constant iterative process.

Requirements

• Three or more years of professional training in Legal is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills on administrative matters is essential in addition to the use of those skills for training/knowledge sharing purposes.
• Experience in the creation of online content and eLearning is preferred but not essential.
