Job Title: Aerodynamics Specialist - VTOL DevelopmentSalary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will lead the design and development of tests for our innovative VTOL systems, working closely with our team of engineers to ensure safe and efficient operation.
This role involves:
- Developing flight test plans and flight test cards
- Performing data reduction and analysis
- Documenting test results in comprehensive reports
- Maintaining detailed records of flight test parameters during ground and flight tests
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should have:
- A minimum of 5+ years of work experience in system development, particularly in VTOL systems, electric, and hybrid vehicle architectures
- In-depth understanding of various vehicle architectures, systems, and subsystems, including component design and selection
- Hands-on experience using electrical/software test and analysis equipment
- Demonstrated success with engineering problem-solving approaches
- Ability to influence without authority
- Success working in cross-functional, multi-location teams
We require a Bachelor's degree in engineering, with a Graduate degree preferred. You should also be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
