Job Overview
A challenging opportunity exists for a skilled Data-Driven Signal Processing Engineer to join our team at Leidos Holding, focusing on cutting-edge technology projects. This role will involve working closely with defense customers, contractors, and intelligence personnel to develop and implement innovative solutions using machine learning and signal processing techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy advanced algorithms and systems for remote sensing applications, including Electronic Support Measures (ESM), acoustic, RF, EO/IR, and lidar data analysis.* Apply expertise in pattern recognition, image classification, and machine learning to improve the performance of Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) and Combat Identification (CID) systems.* Develop and maintain target knowledge databases, utilizing modeling and simulation techniques to create or augment training data.* Work with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions using state-of-the-art AI/ML tools and methodologies.* Write and present technical reports related to development activities, highlighting achievements and progress.* Participate in proposal writing for new work opportunities, showcasing technical capabilities and expertise.* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in machine learning and signal processing, applying this knowledge to enhance existing systems and processes.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant science field (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, etc.) with 4+ years' experience, or Master's degree with 2+ years' experience.* US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.* Strong proficiency in Python and MATLAB, with experience in Linux and Windows environments.* Familiarity with common machine and deep learning packages, such as Scikit-Learn and PyTorch.* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work directly with customers and deliver results.* Proven ability to contribute to team goals, work collaboratively, and adapt to changing priorities.* Basic understanding of electromagnetic phenomenology, including scattering, absorption, polarization, refraction, diffraction, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Active SECRET clearance or higher, with an ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.* Experience with Combat Identification and ATR algorithm development for air, ground, or space targets.* Working knowledge of monostatic or bi-static Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and/or Synthetic Aperture Lidar (SAL) data and sensor systems.* Familiarity with Computational Electromagnetics Prediction codes (Xpatch, SENTRi, CST, Feko, etc.).
