Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner
  • Document medication administration and resident care in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Assist residents with self-administration of medications
  • Count narcotics in accordance with company policy
  • Participate in the life enrichment program and engage with residents
  • Comply with company training requirements and maintain a high level of safety and privacy of resident information
  • Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living, including eating, drinking, walking, and transferring
  • Communicate and interact with residents, families, and team members in a professional, respectful, and hospitable manner
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous Med Passer experience required
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks
  • Ability to make decisions and act in the resident's best interest
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred and desire to serve and care for seniors
