Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Monitor Technician to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a Cardiac Monitor Technician, you will be responsible for providing continuous cardiac monitor observation and rhythm strip documentation for patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides continuous cardiac monitor observation and rhythm strip documentation for patients
- Documents and interprets rhythm strips for each patient per unit requirement
- Communicates changes in cardiac rhythms to nursing staff
- Positions and handles patients with a high degree of safety and professionalism
- Recognizes and reports any adverse reactions, events, or possible safety concerns
Requirements:
- Entry-level knowledge and basic employment skills
- Less than 1 year of experience
- Basic computer skills and BLS/CPR certification from AHA
- Training in cardiac monitoring and documentation, certification preferred
- Successful completion of Arrhythmia test with a minimum score of 90% and no lethal rhythms missed within 60 days of employment
