Job Description

Mission/Position Description Summary

The mission of a Geologist at HVJ Associates is to support project managers and staff in ensuring client satisfaction through detailed calculations, engineering analyses, and field assignments. Key responsibilities include:

Key Criteria/Requirements

  1. BSCE/BS Geo.
  2. Excellent written and communication skills, strong math and science skills
  3. Valid Texas driver's license, no history of accidents or alcohol/drug-related traffic offenses, and valid right to work documents
  4. Complete defensive driving course and obtain certificate before driving company vehicles, repeat as necessary
  5. Willingness to perform year-long outdoor testing and logging
