Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medications, maintaining medication inventory, assisting in crisis interventions, and monitoring patient demeanor.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care and will be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications based on medical orders
  • Maintain management of medication inventory
  • Assist Medical Director in crisis interventions
  • Monitor the demeanor of patients during medication administration
  • Identify and report critical incidents to the Medical Director
  • Observe urine drug screens, as needed

Requirements

  • A registered Nursing License or Licensed Practical Nursing License from an accredited school
  • Valid NC nursing license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain professional ethics and confidentiality
  • CPR/First Aid certification

Physical Setting and Schedule

This role is based in our outpatient treatment center in Morehead City and requires a standard day shift schedule (Monday-Friday, 5:30 am-12:30 pm).

Education and Certification

  • BLS certification preferred
  • RN or LPN licensure required
