MedConnect Staffing is seeking a Medical Director - Occupational Medicine Specialist to lead our Employer Health Services division and Team Member Health. This role will be responsible for providing clinical and operational guidance and leadership, developing the long-term strategy and short-term tactics for growth and development of the service line, and improving the health of the population we serve.
About the OpportunityThis opportunity offers a guaranteed base salary of $250,000, with potential for productivity and performance bonuses. Additionally, you will receive a signing bonus, moving allowance, full benefits, and a 403B retirement plan (or 401K if applicable). You will also enjoy the benefits of living in a state with no income tax and having access to regional airport, four area lakes, award-winning golf courses, craft breweries, wineries, and arts and entertainment venues.
Job DescriptionThe Medical Director - Occupational Medicine Specialist will provide clinical and operational guidance and leadership for Employer Health Services division and Team Member Health. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing the long-term strategy and short-term tactics for growth and development of the service line
- Improving the health of the population we serve via engagement in the development of clinical standards of care
- Participating in recruitment and on-boarding of new providers
- Lead/support development of quality initiatives and other programs to continually improve cost-effectiveness and quality of services and patient and client satisfaction
- Serving as the designated physician and advanced practice clinician supervisor for BHMA Occupational Medicine clinics, onsite programs, and Business Health team members
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Valid and active Medical Licensure in TN and VA
- Valid and active Board Certification for Occupational Medicine
- Medical License free of sanctions from any healthcare entity and payer
- DEA clear of any restrictions or recent sanction
- DOT and MRO certifications required; others may be needed as market needs shift
- Five years minimum clinical experience
