Pineview Veterinary Hospital & Pet Resort Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Kennel Assistant to join our team at Pineview Veterinary Hospital & Pet Resort. As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our boarding and hospitalized animals.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily care, feeding, and exercise to boarding and hospitalized animals.
  • Maintain accurate records of animal care, including feeding schedules, medication administration, and veterinary notes.
  • Interact with clients in person and via phone or email to provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with cleaning and disinfecting of kennel areas, including cages, runs, and yards.
  • Supervise animals during yard time and perform TLC play times or walks for clients who request them.
  • Participate in the preparation of animals for discharge, including returning personal belongings and reviewing boarding reports with clients.
Requirements:
  • Confidence around animals and pets.
  • Knowledge of proper animal restraint techniques.
  • Knowledge of infectious diseases and how to control and prevent their spread.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
